A jury has found Justin Ross Harris guilty of murder — in an impossibly cruel plot to kill his 22-month-old son! Authorities originally thought it was another simple tragedy when little Cooper Harris was found dead in the back seat of his father's car on a swelteringly hot June day in 2014. But detectives soon found evidence that Harris was really a sick sociopath pursuing underage girls on his computer while waiting for his son to die a horrible death!

Harris, 35, originally claimed that he had simply forgotten to drop Cooper off at day care, and then went to his office at the Home Depot website without any idea his child was slowly succumbing to the horrific heat from his child seat in the back of the car.

Phillip Stoddard, the prosecution’s lead investigator, said that cameras at the police station where Harris was taken had caught him showing "no tears, no real emotion coming out — except for the huffing, as I would put it."

Stoddard believed Harris was trying to "work himself up." Then things became more disturbing when Harris' wife Leanna arrived. “It was all about him," scoffed Stoddard.

“‘I can’t believe this is happening to me," Stoddard continued. “‘Why am I being punished for this?’ It was all very one-sided. He talked about losing his job… ‘What are we going to do? I’ll be charged with a felony.’" Stoddard added that Leanna later asked her husband: "Did you say too much?"

But then shocked investigators found what Harris has really been up to during his workday while his son died. Harris had been having sexually-charged online communications with up to six different women, including a 16-year-old girl who had been sent a photo of the father's erect penis!

Detectives also discovered that Harris had visited a website that celebrated people who preferred a "Child-Free" life, and had also searched for “age of consent for Georgia.” Both of Cooper's parents had researched deaths by infants who had been accidentally left in hot cars.

The couple had also taken out two life insurance policies on their doomed son — one for $2,000 and another for $25,000. Investigators found that they had been arguing over finances. Police also believe that Cooper's father had even returned to his car at lunch time.

The scandalous charges that emerged in the court case had quickly turned the public against Harris, who had briefly enjoyed some sympathy when it was announced that the police would pursue murder charges. There have been no charges filed against Leanna Harris.
