An officer holding on a moving car was forced to fatally shoot the psycho heading down a highway — with the police in Houston, Tex., now having to release the dashcam footage to head off protests! The shocking video shows Deputy Constable R. Felix as he pulled over 24-year-old Ashtian Barnes. The officer said Barnes didn't have a license or proof of insurance during a traffic stop. Then, as caught on camera, the criminal hit the gas with the officer holding on for dear life!
Amazingly, though, this video (click to play) has been released by Barne's family — who insist that the footage actually shows that the driver was unfairly murdered by the officer. "If you pay close attention," said Barnes' father Tommy, "this man shot my son before the car moved." Multiple viewings, however, put the family's claims in dispute.

The death of Barnes (seen here in a picture from a
GoFundMe page to pay his funeral expenses) still prompted protests by Black Lives Matter activists — with Ashtian's father telling the
Houston Press: “The police murdered my son. [The constable] opened the door to the car with his hand on his gun, and put the gun up against his body, and shot my son.”

The family chose to post the video after a grand jury declined to charge Constable Felix on any charges. "What we can say," declared Harris County District Attorney’s Office Civil Rights Division Chief Julian Ramirez, "is that the presentation was comprehensive and responsive to the needs of the grand jury."
