Omar Mateen: Secrets Of Terror Attack Transcripts

Gay terrorist Omar Mateen murdered 49 revelers in an Orlando, Fla., nightclub — and called the police to report his own bloody reign of terror in the name of ISIS! "I did the shootings," Mateen declared in newly-released transcripts of his 911 calls. But there's new controversy over the government censoring any references that Mateen made to terrorist organizations!

The official transcript reveals how Mateen took time out from his brutal slaughter of innocents to make a 911 call and pledge his allegiance to extremist Islamic terrorist groups. But now any references to Islamic terrorism have been removed. Mateen's censored statement says: "I pledge allegiance to [omitted], may God protect him [in Arabic], on behalf of [omitted]." Any references to "Allah" were replaced by "God."

U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch attempted to explain why the transcripts were censored. "What we're not going to do is further proclaim this man's pledges of allegiance to terrorist groups, and further his propaganda," she said. "We are not going to hear him make his assertions of allegiance [to the Islamic State]."

But the explanation by Lynch has been rejected by others in Washington. “Selectively editing this transcript is preposterous," said Speaker of the House Paul Ryan. "We know the shooter was a radical Islamist extremist inspired by ISIS. We also know he intentionally targeted the LGBT community. The administration should release the full, un-redacted transcript so the public is clear-eyed about who did this, and why!"

The transcripts are included in a Justice Department report that he pledged "allegiance to [omitted]" at least three different times. Survivors of the massacre at Pulse nightclub have said that the American-born Mateen ranted that the murders were in retaliation for U.S. forces bombing "his country." Other transcripts show Mateen telling negotiators that the murders were in retaliation for U.S. bombing in Syria and Iraq — with both countries containing ISIS forces.

In a disturbing twist, the censored transcripts have been released just days after ISIS released a new video praising the Orlando attack — featuring a suicide bomber strapping on explosives before footage is shown of Time Square in New York City.
