Jaclyn Smith in “Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy”
JACLYN SMITH IN "JACQUELINE BOUVIER KENNEDY" — Jaclyn went from "Charlie's Angels" to the lead role in the 1981 TV-movie "Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy." She showed off some classic screen style, with actor James Franciscus costarring as John F. Kennedy. The small-screen flick centered on Jackie's early life, as she went from being a newspaper's "Inquiring Camera Girl" to romancing her way into the White House. JACQUELINE BISSET IN "THE GREEK TYCOON" — James Franciscus hit the big screen as "President James Cassidy" in 1983's "The Greek Tycoon," which starred Jacqueline Bisset as a lightly-fictionalized version of the woman who became Jacqueline Onassis. The movie star broke out the sunglasses to play Jackie as both a heartbroken widow and the wife of the titular Greek tycoon — that being Anthony Quinn as a barely-fictionalized take on Aristotle Onassis.
Katie Holmes in “The Kennedys”
KATIE HOLMES IN "THE KENNEDYS" — Katie became mired in controversy as Jackie in the planned miniseries "The Kennedys" — which was unauthorized enough to have the powerful Kennedy family go after Hollywood executives. The project was supposed to be a very big deal for the History Channel. Instead, Katie — and Greg Kinnear as JFK — found their miniseries buried. The miniseries was barely promoted when it was finally shown on the little-seen Reelz Channel.
Emma Roberts in “Scream Queens”
EMMA ROBERTS IN "SCREAM QUEENS" — Here's a tribute to Jackie Kennedy from this past year — although Emma's pillbox-hatted character was meant to be a tasteless turn for the Halloween episode of the MTV series "Scream Queens." Emma stars in the horror show as a mean-girl fraternity sister. That outfit was still sure impressive!
