Police in Riverside, California have arrested Chiengkham "Cindy" Vilaysane, and plan to file felony charges of child endangerment and child abandonment for allegedly abandoning her toddler at a grocery store. According to police reports, Cindy had even blown off a Good Samaritan at the store who tried to reconnect the mother and child with a cruelly dismissive: “Oh, just leave her!”
This surveillance footage was used to help identify the monster mom after she abandoned her child at the Food 4 Less store. "It's hard to imagine any parent to just walk away a young person like this in a crowded grocery store,” said Riverside police Officer Ryan Railsback. "It's just tragic."

According to the official police report, the tattoo-loving mom had been recently kicked out of her home because she had problems with drugs and alcohol abuse, as well as mental issues. Police placed the 2-year-old with child protective services. Depending on the outcome of Vilaysane’s case, courts will determine if the child should be reunited with her father and older sibling — who don't share a residence with the cold-blooded mom.
