“Zoolander No. 2” World Premiere In New York City – February 9th
Susan Sarandon was joined at the New York premiere of “Zoolander 2” last night at Alice Tully Hall by son Miles Robbins, who certainly got into the spirit of the film by donning an eclectic outfit that almost looks like something fictional model Derek Zoolander himself might conjure up! Look, there's Derek (Ben Stiller) with them now!

In case your eyes are watering too much to see clearly, Miles, 23, is wearing a light blue blazer festooned with My Little Pony plushies (some of them just the heads!) sewn all over it. Under the jacket he wore a white dress, silver stockings and grey loafers. The top of his dress was unbuttoned to flash his hairy chest, and the flowing locks on his head were pulled into a tight ponytail.

Of course the “Thelma & Louise” star, 69, didn’t want to be outshone in the fashion department by her son, so she chose a white coat emblazoned with a flower-and-skull design, a chunky necklace and gold rings on her fingers. This (somewhat) more sedate look should attract less criticism than the
plunging neckline she wore at the SAG Awards. #Cleavagegate

Susan shares Miles with her former longtime partner and costar from “Bull Durham,” Tim Robbins, and she is well-acquainted with her son’s style. “'My son Miles is a musician and a DJ and sometimes when his band performs they all wear dresses, and he has long hair,” she has said.

Miles knows that while his personal style may be uniquely his own, he’s far from the first guy to rock a dress. "So, so, so many people, especially musicians, have done this before me," he has said. "I wear dresses onstage and to occasional fancy dress events because I do not enjoy neckties.”
