Megyn wasn't happy with O'Reilly's spokesman saying that the Times article had “maliciously smeared” O'Reilly. The rep's statement also insisted that no one at FOX News had ever complained to Human Resources or the Legal department about O'Reilly during his decades at the network. Megyn took to her "Today" hour to respond: "I complained!"

"FOX News," said Megyn, "was not exactly a friendly environment for harassment victims who wanted to report, in my experience." She then added that in "November of 2016, the day when my memoir was released...O'Reilly happened to be on CBS News that morning. They asked me about my book and about
[Roger] Ailes."

Megyn then showed footage of O'Reilly refusing to discuss
reports of sexual harassment at FOX, saying he didn't want to talk about "things that would hurt my network." Megyn then revealed that she sent a memo to FOX bosses complaining about his dismissal of the FOX sexual harassment scandals — and added that O'Reilly's own creepy behavior was why he really dodged the topic!

"Perhaps," Megyn wrote, "it's his own history of harassment of women which has, as you both know, resulted in payouts to more than one woman, one just recently, that really blinded him to the folly of saying anything other than 'I am just so sorry for the women of the company who never should have had to go through that."

By then, as reported by The ENQUIRER, O'Reilly was already in a vicious feud with Megyn — not even defending her when he interviewed
Donald Trump, who referred to the newswoman
as "highly overrated." She was gone from the network by Jan. 2017 — although O'Reilly's didn't have much longer before
he was fired in disgrace!
