These pictures were snapped on July 8, 1960, while the buxom beauty was in New York City for hair and makeup tests for her upcoming movie “The Misfits.” “You can clearly see the rounded protruding belly as Marilyn was just starting to show,” a source told The ENQUIRER. When John F. Kennedy learned that Marilyn was pregnant with their child, he demanded she abort it. After the photo shoot, Marilyn flew back to Los Angeles.

Days later, on July 20, she took another flight to Reno, Nev., to start work on “The Misfits.” The source noted: “Marilyn got pregnant halfway through the movie ‘Let’s Make Love,’ co-starring French actor Yves Montand. At the time, Marilyn was married to playwright Arthur Miller, but she was cheating on him with JFK. Ironically, Miller believed the baby was fathered by Parisian playboy Montand – and Marilyn didn’t dissuade him of the notion. But she knew the child was really JFK’s baby!”

JFK and Marilyn had been seeing each other on and off since they met at a star-studded Beverly Hills party in 1954. “Marilyn was smitten with the young senator from Massachusetts and dreamed of being America’s first lady,” the source tattled, “even though she was married to baseball superstar Joe DiMaggio. She cheated on Joe and continued to see Kennedy even after marrying Miller. They had several romps in the late spring of 1960.”

When the Democratic National Convention was held in Los Angeles in mid-July of 1960, Marilyn hooked up with JFK in secret. It was there she finally confessed she was in the family way. “Kennedy was horrified,” said the source. “JFK was in the middle of a nasty campaign against Republican Vice President Richard Nixon and couldn’t afford even a whiff of scandal. He sent word to Monroe — the baby had to go.”

Marilyn sadly complied. She went into the hospital for 10 days in August 1960, halting production on “The Misfits.” “The official reason for her hospital stay was ‘exhaustion,’” the source told The ENQUIRER. “But the truth is Marilyn had an abortion. She insisted she was in love with Kennedy and would never give him up.”
