Judd Nelson: Unrecognizable ‘Breakfast Club’ Star Turns 57

Yes, that's Judd Nelson celebrating as he turned 57 years old — several decades away from his heyday as an '80s icon after starring in "The Breakfast Club." While his costar Anthony Michael Hall faced new criminal charges over a long-running fight with a neighbor, Judd enjoyed a birthday dinner at Dan Tana's restaurant in West Hollywood.

Not that many of his old fans would've recognized him! Judd (seen here in Hollywood back in April) followed up "The Breakfast Club" with 1985's "St. Elmo's Fire" before a series of box-office flops sent him back to working steadily as a character actor.

Judd's last turn as a proper star had him paired with fellow '80s star Brooke Shields as a regular on the sitcom "Suddenly Susan." He also appeared with fellow ex-film stars Charlie Sheen and Jon Cryer on two episodes of "Two and a Half Men" back in 2010.

Otherwise, Judd's mainly been making movies like "The Terror Experiment" and "Nurse 3D!" At least her rode out in style at the end of his big birthday night, straddling a wild hog that would've been the envy of his "Breakfast Club" character John Bender.
