Hillary Clinton is still planning to seize power — and the new head of the DNC is there to help! Tom Perez was elected to the new position on Feb. 25 — after coming close to being Hillary's choice for her running mate in the 2016 election. As The National ENQUIRER previously reported, Hillary remains secretly determined to make a political comeback. Veteran advisors to both Bill Clinton and Hillary, including The ENQUIRER's own Dick Morris, are reporting that the former First Couple are working together to keep control of the Democratic Party. That included plenty of support for Perez, whose biggest rival was Rep. Keith Ellison — who had campaigned for Hillary rival Bernie Sanders before finally endorsing the former First Lady.

Perez had also been promoted as a leading candidate to serve as Hillary's running mate in 2016, before she decided on Senator Tim Kaine. A former chairman for the Democratic National Committee even told the website Politico that he was hoping for Donald Trump's failure to get Hillary back in the spotlight. Ed Rendell declared: “I’m certain Trump will screw up enough that by the fall of ’18, Hillary’s numbers will be way up again.”
