George Clooney is speaking up while promoting “Hail, Caesar!” — and he's insisting that his marriage isn't as bombing as big as his latest movie! The struggling star made the rounds while promoting his latest box-office disappointment, and addressed tabloid coverage of his marriage to lawyer wife Amal. George challenged The National ENQUIRER's coverage of Amal as a “Wife From Hell,” and his marriage being "a complete disaster!" when prompted by a reporter.

The “Hello!” writer cheerfully asked George about coverage of his marriage, and nodded along with the star's response: "Right," says George during our interview, cheerfully rolling his eyes. "We're getting divorced now, are we? That's what it usually is. That, or she's pregnant. The answer is, no, she's not pregnant. No, we're not getting a divorce. Okay?"

To further cut ties to his legendary playboy past, Amal insisted George, 54, sell the homes where he entertained a string of women. “Those houses hold a lot of happy memories for George, but Amal hates the thought of living with the ghosts of his girlfriends past!” dished an insider. George’s mansion in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico — next door to Rande and Cindy — is reportedly already on the market. But if you get George to say hello to “Hello!,” he'll assure you that all is well!
