"Dwayne took off to get back to shooting ["Ballers"] for HBO," said a Cinemacon insider, "and that was just fine with the studio executives!" As revealed by The ENQUIRER last August, Dwayne went to social media after feeling that Vin Diesel wasn't doing his part on camera. “My female co-stars are always amazing and I love ‘em,” he said — before blasting: “My male co-stars, however, are a different story. Some conduct themselves as stand-up men and true profes-sionals, while others don’t. The ones that don’t are too chicken s--t to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses.”

The brass at Universal Pictures tried to downplay the infighting after Dwayne went public, officially stating: “What happened is over, and no one expects there to be any lingering effects. When it comes time to promote the movie, this will have no bearing.” But it looks like the Diesel-fueled feud is just heating up, which is a new headache for the executives.
They can still hope the offscreen tension makes for some great big-screen action, though. Dwayne himself said: “When you watch this movie next April, and it seems like I’m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling — you’re right!”
