Demi Lovato has confirmed that she's single and bisexual — just weeks after The National ENQUIRER caught her out on a date with deejay and music producer Lauren Abedini.

  Demi appeared on "Ellen" just days after the ENQUIRER scoop — but Ellen still asked if the new song "Ruin the Friendship" was about pop star Nick Jonas. Demi dodged the question by joking with Ellen that the song was about her!

But readers of The National ENQUIRER already knew that Demi was expanding her romantic horizons after she was caught holding hands with Lauren during a steamy mid-September Disneyland date. That was just four months after former Disney kid Demi split with MMA fighter Guilherme “Bomba” Vasconcelos.

“After Bomba dumped her in May,” said an insider, “Demi made a full-court press to reconcile with ex Wilmer Valderrama. When he blew her off, she swore off boys! She poured her heart out to Lauren, and they evolved into something more than friends. Now Demi says she’s in love and not looking back.”

The revelation is a big step for Demi, who's previously only hinted at her bisexuality when asked by reporters in the past. “I’m not confirming and I’m definitely not denying,” she's said — adding: “I don’t think there’s anything wrong with experimentation at all.”
