‘Family Matters’ Star: Horrific Child Abuse Charges

Darius McCrary — beloved as teen son "Eddie Winslow" from ABC's "Family Matters" — is now battling a family restraining order! His estranged wife Tammy Brawner says that the former sitcom star threatened their infant daughter by holding her over a pot of boiling water. The same document also accuses Darius of terrorizing his family with drug-fueled rants. McCrary's attorney issued a denial saying Tawny "is no victim," and called her "a predator motivated by a desperate desire to extort money." Darius' first wife, notorious groupie Karrine "Superhead" Steffans, told The ENQUIRER in 2008 that her husband had once attempted to kill her outside a Los Angeles music studio. "I was trying to talk to him when he jumped into his car and ran over my foot," said Karrine, then insisting that it was an intentional attempt to run her down. In a bizarre twist, though, Karrine went on to marry Darius in 2009.

Darius is still known as a Hollywood bad boy, and made ENQUIRER headlines as a teen after leading cops on a 90-mph chase on a Los Angeles highway. He also makes frequent appearances as part of Charlie Sheen's entourage. Darius won't be seen with his wife Tammy, though, as a judge approved the order saying that Darius has to stay 100 yards away from his wife and daughter.
