2016 American Theatre Wing Gala Honoring Cicely Tyson
Cicely Tyson won an Emmy in 1974 for playing the 110-year-old title character in "The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman." Now it seems that Cicely — also Oscar-nominated in 1972 for "Sounder" — might make it to the same age, judging by how stunning she looks at the age of 91!

Cicely was attending an event in her honor held by the American Theatre Wing at the Plaza Hotel in NYC on Sept. 26 — where several people attending might not have recognized the "Roots" actress as a woman being saluted for 65 years of acting. (She was 27 years old when she made her television debut in 1951.)

The actress isn't slowing down, either! Cicely appeared on the big screen in 2011's "The Help," appeared on television last year in "How to Get Away with Murder," and has a recurring role on the Netflix series "House of Cards." It'll be a few more decades before she'll catch up to looking like Miss Jane Pittman!
