EXCLUSIVE: Comedian Bob Newhart still going strong at 86 years old waves hello as he leaves Mauro’s Cafe in West Hollywood, Ca
Bob Newhart is one of Hollywood's oldest television legends, but he looked ready for a few more years of stardom when The ENQUIRER caught up with him this weekend. Bob was heading out of Hollywood's Mauro's Cafe, which is a daytime favorite for celebrities who aren't likely to be partying into the night! Not that Bob — who just celebrated 53 years of marriage to his wife Ginny — has ever been one of L.A.'s wildest actors!

Of course, we can't rule out anything with Bob yet. He didn't win his first Emmy until 2013, when he guested on "The Big Bang Theory." Bob didn't consider that a big finish, either. He later returned to the show at the end of last year for a fourth appearance as kiddie science host Professor Proton — even though his character died after his third appearance.

Bob even has a concert appearance scheduled in California at the end of this month. The longtime comic doesn't look ready for retirement , and seems to be enjoying his career as much as ever. "I think you should be a child for as long as you can," said Bob. "I have been successful for 74 years being able to do that. Don't rush into adulthood — it isn't all that much fun!"
