The 67-year-old brute — once accused of choking his wife and dragging her down a flight of stairs in front of their children — has promised to take legal action against his enemies, insiders say.

“Bill O’Reilly has been known to hold a grudge and, in the past, unleashed FOX News security and lawyers after his enemies,” a TV insider tells The National ENQUIRER. “He’s a very wealthy man, so he can afford to do anything he wants against people he hates.” O’Reilly’s targets will likely include the nearly dozen gals who branded him a sex creep — especially high-profile FOX defector Megyn Kelly, who complained about the frat boy behavior at the network.

“He’s considering using his influence to keep the women from working in the media again, and he plans to reveal shocking secrets about Kelly’s divorce!” the source says. “I’ve heard he swore, ‘I’ll destroy every one of them!’ ” He also wants to settle the score with FOX bigwigs Rupert Murdoch (center) and his sons Lachlan (left) and James (right), who axed the pervy pundit on April 19.

O’Reilly intends to create a new right-wing network — with former FOX host Glenn Beck — to compete with Murdoch’s TV operations, sources say. The former "O’Reilly Factor" frontman, credited with turning FOX into the dominant news network, is also considering an explosive mudslinging exposé on the Murdoch family, says an insider. A third informant says O’Reilly is considering investigating the private lives of top editors at "The New York Times," who exposed his sexcapades, and FOX’s secret payoffs to women who claimed abuse.

While appearing on Beck’s May 12 radio show, "TheBlaze", O’Reilly hinted he’ll soon launch legal action against his rivals.“It has to do with destroying voices the far left and organized left-wing cable doesn’t like,” explained O’Reilly. “I can’t get specific. There’s a lot of legalities here.”But O’Reilly now will have access to Glenn’s mic every Friday as part of a partnership TheBlaze star says will “unite our powers for good.” Glenn also says O’Reilly can help him return to TV, because “I could not get the cable coverage by myself, because I’m not powerful enough.”
