Creepy Cosby Tried To Put Moves On Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw says accused rapist and disgraced TV dad Bill Cosby once tried to get her up to his hotel room — and wonders if she would have been victimized had she gone! Years ago, she recalled, Ali and the now-disgraced Cosby, 78, were “both on some kind of tour."

"He said, ‘Come to my hotel room, I have a palm tree a fan had given me,'" Ali said — but she begged off, saying she had no interest in seeing a “10-foot tree.” Now that more than 40 women have alleged Cosby drugged and assaulted them over the past four decades, The “Love Story” beauty shivers at the thought of what might have happened had she gone “tree-watching.”

“My God, I think about it,” she said — although Ali is seemingly now thinking more about her old costar Ryan O’Neal. The sweethearts from the blockbuster screen romance “Love Story" have been touring the nation in the play “Love Letters,” and insiders said the chemistry between Ali, 77, and Ryan, 75, is still explosive.

Ryan described their attraction as if it were a combustible gas: “Chemistry … ours … it’s in the air.”  During this second time around, their connection is just as powerful as when they made the movie — proving it’s never too late. At the time they filmed "Love Story," though, Ryan was married to actress Leigh Taylor-Young, and Ali was wed to powerful movie producer Bob Evans.

Now, after all these decades, Ali says she and Ryan still “feel the connection to each other.” Ryan added: “We love being together. We love working together.” But the ex-love of Farrah Fawcett is uncharacteristically coy about whether he and Ali have finally romped in real life: “Who says we haven’t acted on it?”
