Pat Boone, 77, declared himself to be "birther," a pretty much now-defunct group that says Barack Obama wasn’t born in the USA and shouldn’t be allowed to be President.
Longtime Christian acolyte, Boone, a card carrying member of the Beverly Hills Tea Party, went off the rails in a video shot by The San Francisco Chronicle.
Asked if Obama was born in the US, the “Journey to the Center of the Earth” star said, "I don't."
"I was in Kenya about a year and a half ago and everybody said, 'You know he was born here,'" Boone said.
"And experts have already looked at and been able to verify that this long form document is a fraud. But the media ignores it — a total fraud. A Photoshopped fraud."
POP FYI: Back in the 1980s, Pat wore leather and chains as he went head banger rocking out with an LP entitled "In a Metal Mood".
