A Las Vegas Clark County judge doubled O.J. Simpson's bail to $250,000 on Wednesday after Simpson violating terms of his original bail by illegally attempting to contact a co-defendant in his armed robbery case.

"I don't know Mr. Simpson what the heck you were thinking — or maybe that's the proble — you weren't," Judge Jackie Glass said.

The AP reports that O.J. was turned in by his bondsman, who the former footballer just happens to owe $18,750. Simpson has been jailed since Friday in Las Vegas.
