Ultimate Mighty Marvel team-up - Spider-Man and Prez Elect Obama.

In Amazing Spider-Man # 583, a special ish, Spidey attends the Inauguration when he suddenly spies two Obamas - but which one's the baddie?!

(Hint: It's Spidey's old villain - The Chameleon!)

"When we heard that President-Elect Obama is a collector of Spider-Man comics, we knew that these two historic figures had to meet in our comics' Marvel Universe," Marvel Editor-in-Chief Joe Quesada said in a PR release.

"Historic moments such as this one can be reflected in our comics because the Marvel Universe is set in the real world. A Spider-Man fan moving into the Oval Office is an event that must be commemorated in the pages of Amazing Spider-Man."

This isn't the first thing a President has appeared in the comics world - FDR was a frequent guest star during WW2 four color funnies and even JFK met Superman - helping to preserve his secret identity way back in 1963.

Unfortunately we still don't know if Prez Elect Bam digs artist Steve Ditko on Spidey or "Jazzy" Johnny Romita . . .
