JOKER OBAMA CONTROVERSY

description

Mystery posters depicting Barack Obama as The Joker have been sprouting like wildfire across California and now the East Coast!

The guerilla poster campaign depicts President Obama as The Joker as portrayed by late Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight  captioned "socialism".  The seemingly satirical poster, spreading like an exploitation  movie ad campaign,  first appeared in Los Angeles in April.

The LA Times admitted they were baffled by the sudden, savage mockery as Cali residents predominantly voted Obama in November election.  More confusing was that a controversy over a guerilla critique could generate such media fanfare.

Los Angeles Urban Policy Roundtable President Earl Ofari Hutchinson says the Joker depiction is "politically mean-spirited and dangerous". Hutchinson challenged the group responsible to reveal themselves, KTLA reports.

American Thinker.com claimed the posters were spreading like wildfire, commenting. "Open mockery of Barack Obama, as disillusionment sets in with the man, his policies, and the phony image of a race-healing, brilliant, scholarly, middle-of-the-roader."

Bloggers now report that the image can now be seen in Atlanta and is rapidly moving up the East Coast as well.

Andre
the Giant may have had his posse but for Obama it looks like cracks in the American psyche are beginning to appear as "his cool image is so 2008."

Why so serious?
