Boston law enforcement collar 3 more suspects in the Boston terror attack.

The Boston Police Department made the announcement on Twitter Wednesday just after 11 a.m.

“Three additional suspects have been taken into custody in connection to the attack on the Boston Marathon. Aside from the aforementioned, there is no additional info to release at this time,” the department later said in a statement.

The Boston Globe reported the three were college students who allegedly helped suspect Dzohkhar Tsarnaev who was enrolled at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth — after the bombing, the paper  cited a police source.

NBC News is reporting the arrested men were Dzhokar’s roommates who were shown in the infamous Time Square picture with Tsaranev.

UPDATE 3:11 PM EDT:  AP reported that Linda Cristello, a Boston attorney who is  representing Azamat Tazhayakov and Dias Kadyrbayev in immigration court Wednesday morning, confirmed her clients now face separate federal charges.Allegedly they removed backpacks contained xplosive fireworks belionging to Tsaranev after the attack..

The two have been held in jail for more than a week on allegations that they violated their student visas while attending school with Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

The identity of the third suspect is  Robel Phillipos who is accused of lying to investigators.
