Robert 'Mutt' Lange is out of the doghouse and into the gutter after being given the old heave-ho from superstar wife Shania Twain.

The couple were together 14 years.

The 42 year old sultry songbird met Mutt, 59, when the music producer was working on her album way back in the last century. 

Shania's rep, Jason Owen, said, "This is a private matter and there will be no further comment at this time."

Simply put,  Shania got her doggie rollin', rollin', rollin' - out of the house.
