Troubled country star Mindy McCready has entered rehab after an alleged suicide attempt over a reported miscarriage.

McCready, 32, the admitted epicenter of the Roger Clemens cheating scandal a few months back has been on thin ice emotionally including a jail sentence for a probation violation.

"Mindy McCready did receive emergency care at Vanderbilt University Medical Center," confirmed her publicist.

"Other issues made it prudent for her to seek longer-term and broader-based treatment."

Reportedly McCready suffered a complete breakdown after suffering a miscarriage.  The pregnancy was unplanned and the result of an affair with an unidentified man.

The CW singer, trying to mount a comeback, will remain in rehab for treatment up to a month.
