Vicious attacks by ROSIE O’DONNELL have personally and professionally poisoned her old “View” boss BARBARA WALTERS, who’s telling insiders she deeply regrets ever hiring the nasty comedienne.
During the publicity tour for her TV stink-bomb, the portly comic lashed out at Walters, ranting on CONAN O’BRIEN’s late-nighter that she suffers “post-traumatic stress disorder when I watch [‘The View’]. It didn’t end well.”
And she snarked in “The Washington Post”: “I didn’t want to be paid to fight!”
Incredibly, a new ABC viewer poll shows Barbara suffered a sharp drop in popularity, and the aging star’s literally shed tears over it, blaming Rosie, say insiders.
“Barbara says that with all she’s done and accomplished in TV news, now all anyone’s going to think about is that she’s a wicked boss,” said a friend.
“Rosie’s hurt her more than you could ever imagine.”
