LINDSAY LOHAN’s close pal/Sapphic sweetie SAMANTHA RONSON often warned her drugs and booze-loving bed-buddy: “You could end up like AMY WINEHOUSE,” say pals, and on the Saturday morning Amy died, Ronson – whose brother MARK co-produced Amy’s Grammy-winning album “Back to Black” – phoned Lindsay with the shocking news.

“It’s the biggest wake-up call she’s ever had, and she burst into uncontrollable sobs,” said an insider.

Throughout that day, LiLo’s pals bombarded her with calls, texts and e-mails carrying the same message: BE WARNED!

And Lindsay seemed to take the warning to heart. But that very Saturday night, after hitting Hollywood hotspots, Lindsay looked like she was staggering drunk – “crying, screaming and barely able to walk,” say eyewitnesses.
