Things got weird when Will pulled up to the BevHills Montage hotel, exited his limo – then asked valets where a certain neighborhood restaurant was located.

Told it was “right next door,” Will suddenly bolted down the driveway in a desperate race to catch his departed driver.

When the guy got away, Will told hotel staff to phone the car and order it back. “But the restaurant’s just a 30-second walk, Mr. Ferrell,” he was told – but, OH, NO!

Mr. Big Shot stuck by his demand and finally got his car back 15 minutes later. It was a whopping 14 1/2-minute time loss, but here’s good news: No shoe leather was harmed during production of this celebrity ego trip.
