BECAUSE THEY’RE STARS – AND YOU ARE SO NOT! When a tableful of tourists started snapping souvenir pics in the garden restaurant of trendy Chateau Marmont hotel, they were quickly stopped by a snooty staffer, who huffed: “We don’t allow photography in the restaurant!”

Chastened, the folks desisted – but moments later spotted NICOLE RICHIE and baby daddy JOEL MADDEN snapping away at each other with a digital camera as staffers smiled and let ’em rip!

When the miffed touristas complained, they were, like, totally ignored – so instead of ordering, they stood up and stomped out. (Welcome to Gollywood, folks!)
