Despite playing the co-owner of a massage parlor on Lifetime’s “The Client List,” Jennifer – who’s also an exec producer – keeps battling to focus more on character development than sex scenes and kinky dialogue.
“Jennifer’s at war with her fellow producers over the show’s creative direction,” said a show insider.
“She’s demanding that the sex must be toned down.
"In a tense meeting, she warned she has an image to maintain, and she’s not happy with the direction the show’s taking. Her co-producers couldn’t disagree more!
"They want the series to be sexy and racy, and told her to stop being a prude.
"Finally, the parties agreed to try meeting halfway, but Jennifer told the show’s writers she wants a preview of every script – which must meet her approval before it gets green-lighted.”
