STEVE CARELL HELPS OLDER LADY

“The Office” star STEVE CARELL, out for a stroll down a beach walkway in Playa del Rey, suddenly heard sobs and moans coming from behind a hedge. Poking his head through the shrubbery, he spotted an older lady lying on the ground and crying for help. The woman, relieved she’d finally been spotted, told Carell she’d fallen off a stepladder while trimming a bush.

Carell called 911 on his cell phone and reported that the woman had severely injured her hip. He calmed the woman, who was in a lot pain, by telling her jokes – and even phoned her daughter. He stayed until paramedics and the daughter arrived, then left after graciously accepting their profuse thanks…And how was YOUR week?
