Wanting hands-on experience in cutting, washing and blow-drying hair for his upcoming flick, “You Don’t Mess with the Zohan,” Sandler worked incognito as a beautician’s assistant, sporting a long-haired wig slicked back in a tight ponytail, dark pants, T-shirt and a black apron tied at the neck and waist – blending so well with the other mostly gay hairdressers that after he shampooed one 60-ish lady, she looked up and said loudly: “You know, you look like a gay Adam Sandler!” As “co-workers” cracked up, Adam went bright-red and stammered: “Uh…thank you!”
