During a party basketball giant Shaquille O’Neal tossed at his swanky LA mansion, about 20 pals were in his downstairs rec room shooting pool at 2:30 a.m. when they were startled by “a really loud thump . . . like an explosion.” But this was no terrorist attack! Guests were relieved — but wished they’d brought gas masks — when they realized the source of the . . . er, big bang was Big Shaq himself! “The air got unbreathable! Everyone said their goodbyes, rushed upstairs and left,” giggled a guest. Unrepentant Shaq quipped to a buddy: “That’s one way to let ’em know it’s time to leave.”
