A bit player hired for a couple of days on the set of CBS police series “Blue Bloods” started chatting with TOM SELLECK during a break, and the conversation ricocheted wildly when the guy – apparently unaware of Selleck’s widely-known rep as a staunch supporter of our Second Amendment right to bear arms – mentioned that tough New York state gun laws just enacted by Governor ANDREW CUOMO weren’t nearly tough enough… and guns should be outlawed totally.
Selleck exploded, and they started screaming at each other – but the confrontation ended when two assistant directors pulled Tom away, saying he was needed on-set!
As they hustled him off, Selleck bellowed: “Who was that guy? Does he work here?”
Wannabe Actor was later warned he’d be shot down…er, fired, if he mentioned gun control again!
