Hollywood’s hardest-working broadcaster, who’s famously even-tempered, suddenly exploded after a record he’d been spinning on his morning radio show abruptly stopped playing.

When Ryan learned off-air that some exec had killed the song he’d personally picked because it wasn’t on the station’s “approved” playlist, he went back on-microphone and rasped a la CLINT EASTWOOD: “This never happened to me before. I’m playing that song again – and if anybody stops it this time…we’re walking OUT!”

Translation: “Are you feeling lucky, punk?” The exec wasn’t, and Ryan played his song without a hitch.
