RYAN HEEDS PAULA'S STALKER WARNING

RYAN SEACREST just hired round-the-clock security gorillas after a heartfelt warning about taking death threats seriously from his pal PAULA ABDUL – whose own female stalker first threatened to kill her, then committed suicide outside her home.

Paula phoned Ryan, warning him – as someone who’s been there – to take stalker threats seriously after a knife-toting Army Special Forces lunatic assaulted and choked one of the “American Idol” host’s security guards at a charity event – then showed up armed at Ryan’s E! offices with murder on his mind.

“Ryan always figured he’s such a milquetoast, no one would ever go hunting for him,” said a friend. “But even though he’s tight with his megabucks, he’s now hired 24-hour security. It may be overkill, but it shows how scared Ryan is over this.”
