BARBARA WALTERS just loves inviting females she’s fired from “The View” to drop by for interviews, as STAR JONES did recently, and now she’s angling for prodigal ROSIE O’DONNELL – fired once by Barbara, and now by OPRAH WINFREY.
Said a show source: “Barbara called Rosie, begging her to tell her side of the story about Oprah canning her from her OWN talk show.”
But Rosie turned Baba Wawa down flat!
“Rosie said she’d never heard ‘word one’ from her old boss when she could have used a ‘View’ plug for her new talk show.
"Rosie was like, ‘Oh, Barbara, now you want me on because I’ve got a sad-sack story to tell?’
"She won’t do it, because she wants no part of helping ‘The View.’ ”
