Stand up and cheer for funnyman ROBIN WILLIAMS, who put a smile on the scarred face of an old pal he hadn’t seen in ages when the guy suffered a savage mauling by a Doberman Pinscher that required several surgeries – putting him out of work and into severe depression!

Robin, who’d known the aspiring actor for decades, paid a surprise visit when mutual pals warned he’d threatened suicide.

Robin not only cheered his chum up, he called in a plastic surgeon – then picked up medical bills not covered by insurance.

Insiders say the grateful guy’s made a huge turnaround, thanks to bighearted Robin.
