Shooting “Insomnia” on location around Canada, Robin Williams raved about how kind and good-natured the natives are — and joked he just HAD to find “a mean Canadian!” Then at a hospital location, a nurse hired as an extra treated Robin obnoxiously — bawling him out if he touched anything at the nurses’ station, bitching when she bumped into HIM! Shocked, Robin told cast and crew when the nurse was out of earshot: “I finally found my mean Canadian!” Everybody cracked up, then let him in on the joke — they’d hired “Nurse Ratched” to harass him!
