At Manhattan’s swanky Russian Tea Room, Richard Gere overheard four NYC firefighters at a nearby table talking about how good it was to get out and treat themselves once in a while. Gere stopped by the table, thanked the men for their WTC bravery, signed autographs — then quietly picked up their $400 tab on his way out!
