I rarely recommend books, but here’s one I’m qualified to judge after reporting on shining-but-tarnished star MICHAEL JACKSON from the start of his career…to the sad moment when I said goodbye with fans, family and friends at his legendary LA memorial service!

“My Friend Michael” features author FRANK CASCIO in the photo-filled book as a cute 5-year-old in bow tie and sweater, hugging the star who became lifelong “family,” employing him in key positions.

Cascio adamantly swears Michael never molested kids, and he spent years at Neverland with other kids – like original accuser JORDY CHANDLER.

But believe Cascio or not, I couldn’t put the book down.

It delivers riveting insights into Michael’s eccentric rocket-fueled life, interaction with the world’s most famous stars, and truly jaw-dropping scenes – like Michael’s spooky first encounter with propofol, the drug that killed him!
