Told you last week how Melanie Griffith reached out a helping hand to ex-hubby Steven Bauer, the “Traffic” star, taking him to rehab after he backslid into drugs again, but there’s a NEW crisis — his landlord slapped an eviction notice on his LA apartment for nonpayment of rent AND stinking up the building with drugs! Said a tenant: “He’s behind three months in his rent — which is $1,800 a month. And you can smell the drugs he and his ‘undesirable’ friends are doing out in the hallway — marijuana and cocaine, which has a burnt metallic smell when it’s cooking.
