And those are just two of the nicer names crew members are calling Meg Ryan on the Toronto set of her new flick “Against the Ropes” after she had several workers fired, say sources! Despite her perky, girl-next-door image, Meg is “the biggest bitch they have ever worked for in their careers,” said a behind-the-scenes insider. “Everybody hates her!” Meanie Meg’s surly behavior goes wa-a-a-y beyond cranky diva antics, complained crew members. Here’s what they say has been going on: She never says hello, snubs anyone who says, “Good morning” . . . and even refuses to respond when asked if she needs anything! Tension mounted after she fired two hardworking drivers for no apparent reason. Then, in a temper tantrum that horrified everyone, Meg exploded because “her grapes and cheese were the wrong temperature!” — and, the sources add, she insisted on firing several members of the catering crew! Angry union members are threatening a boycott if the star ever films in Canada again. (Kinda explains why Meg and bully-boy Russell Crowe clicked, doesn’t it?)
