A sharp-eyed reader tipped me to this posting in the showbiz jobs bible, “LA Casting,” which called for “real lunch patrons” to show up and sit at tables for “some interaction with Gordon Ramsay” and “you can bring friends or your families.”
In other words, you work as an unpaid audience – but at least you get a free meal, right? WRONG!
Here’s the ad’s unbelievable kicker, suckers: “Please only submit if you are willing to pay for your own meal.”
Now that turns my stomach!
