When Judge Kara ran into Katy and scruffy Brit comedian/ fiance RUSSELL BRAND on the red carpet, reports My Spy, “she tried making nice with Katy” – taking the high road after their nasty bitch-fight on “Idol” that klimaxed with Katy hissing: “I’ll throw my Coke in your face!”

Said the source: “Kara told Katy she’s had some great song ideas that would be perfect for her – but Katy basically rolled her eyes and told Kara, ‘No way!’ Katy just totally blew her off. Then Russell stepped in and told Kara there’s ‘No way in hell’ Katy would do that!
