Just discovered the one place on Planet Earth where the name“Kardashian” is NOT marketing magic – the reality TV family’s own hometown!
Sources at the local Barnes & Noble bookstore in Calabasas, Calif., are mystified – but admit that copies of Mom-ager Kris Jenner’s best-seller “And All Things Kardashian” are just sitting on shelves gathering dust.
And “Dollhouse” – the “novel” authored by daughters KIM, KHLOE and KOURTNEY, which also hit best-seller lists – isn’t doing much better.
Why?
“The bookstore people don’t understand why Kardashian ‘homies’ aren’t snapping up books by their neighbors,” said a source.
“Looks like the old saying is true: ‘You’re never a hero in your own hometown!’ ”
