Who says JESSICA SIMPSON’s dumb? Well, practically everyone, of course, BUT... this sounds pretty darn smart to me: Jessica’s made it known she hates reading scripts (and reading, period!) – but to entice her to look at the script he wanted to pitch her, one think-out-of-the-box screenwriter hired an illustrator to sketch his whole story in cartoon format. Amazingly, his ploy worked, and Jessica not only read the script, she raved about the cartoons! Unfortunately, the story was about a girl who comes back as a ghost, and Jessica gets freaked by ghosts – so the poor guy’s cartoon ploy worked kinda like… WOW!...BOO!!...Boo-hoo-hoo…!
