HOLLY HUNTER'S GOOD DEEDS

Sick of stories about bitchy, narcissistic Mean Grrlz a la LINDSAY/PARIS/BRITNEY? Of course you’re not, gossip fans (and neither am I)…but let’s stand up and cheer for warm-hearted HOLLY HUNTER, who actually noticed the invisible folks called “extras” on the set of her new TV series, “Saving Grace.”

The extras – who’d been warned never to speak to the star – were sweltering on the sun-drenched San Fernando Valley shoot when Holly suddenly approached, offering…heat-beaters! Recalled one stunned female extra: “Someone walked up behind me and tapped me on the shoulder. I turn around, and it’s Holly. She proceeds to tell me I need sunblock. She then goes to the assistant director…and a bottle comes my way. And she offered sunblock to others. She just approached people and asked if they were okay, did they need water or anything else. Cool, huh?” (Good golly, Ms. Holly…way cool!)
