GEENA DAVIS: THE SHOW MUST GO ON

GEENA DAVIS bravely bit her lip — and toughed it out like a real-life Commander in Chief — when she walked across the set in slippers and... SHRIEK!... stepped on a piece of wood with a nail sticking out of it! The crew came running as Geena, near tears, removed the slipper from her blood-soaked foot. The star was rushed to a clinic, where she suffered through five stitches and a tetanus shot — but insisted, over producers' objections, on returning to the set and continuing to shoot! Despite throbbing pain, she refused sedatives and called in her acupuncturist — who stuck even more sharp objects into her ouch-y tootsie! (Hey, it's Hollywood, folks.)
