Days before ANNE HATHAWAY’s surprise marriage, a source reported that the “Batman” beauty visited LA’s Westside Jewish Community Center for a Rosh Hashanah service and was asked by an older woman sitting next to her: “Are you Jewish?”
Anne, who broke with the gay-unfriendly Catholic Church after her brother officially “came out” years ago, replied: “No, not yet – but I’m working on converting.”
